We are seeking a highly experienced Senior SCCM and Intune Administrator to join our IT infrastructure team supporting a U.S.-based financial institution. You will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Intune environments to deliver seamless endpoint management, security, and compliance across the enterprise.
This role is fully remote, based in India, with responsibilities aligned to U.S. business hours and collaboration with global IT teams.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and administer the SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager) infrastructure including:
Software distribution and patch management
Operating system deployment (OSD)
Compliance settings and configuration baselines
Endpoint protection policies
Design, implement, and support Microsoft Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).
Manage device enrollment, configuration policies, app deployment, and security compliance for Windows, iOS, and Android devices.
Collaborate with security and network teams to ensure endpoint compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
Monitor system health, performance, and troubleshoot SCCM and Intune-related issues.
Automate routine tasks and reporting using PowerShell or other scripting tools.
Lead SCCM and Intune upgrades, patching, and configuration changes following change management processes.
Work closely with desktop support and helpdesk teams for incident resolution and user support.
Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures.
Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation as needed.
Required Qualifications
5+ years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft SCCM (ConfigMgr) and Microsoft Intune.
Strong knowledge of:
SCCM infrastructure architecture and site design
Software deployment and patch management
Operating system deployment and task sequences
Intune device and app management for multi-platform environments
Endpoint security and compliance policies
Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and reporting.
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory (AAD) and Hybrid AD environments.
Good understanding of networking, security fundamentals, and Windows OS internals.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience working remotely with U.S. teams and following U.S. business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications such as:
Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Expert
Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
Exposure to other Microsoft 365 services and security tools (Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access).
Familiarity with Intune integration with third-party MDM/EMM solutions.
Knowledge of ITIL processes and IT service management best practices.
